Graston Technique® (GT) Therapy

The primary benefit you will experience with Graston Technique® (GT) is relief from your soft tissue injuries. These types of injuries have a way of creating a hindrance on your everyday lives. Through GT, you will be able to enjoy your life again while experiencing little to no downtime.

GT will allow you to recover faster, spend less time in treatment, and most importantly, allow you to live pain free. Throughout your accelerated rehab period, you will still be able to continue working, running, lifting, swimming, and general training.

How does it work?

Through unique instruments and tailored techniques, our clinicians will be able to get as deep into the tissue as necessary in order to remedy your injuries. We get deep enough to make the change, but we can be sensitive enough as to avoid any pain for the patient.

Specially designed, stainless steel instruments are used in order to identify and then treat the affected soft tissue areas. As we move the instruments over the injured tissue, it will come into contact with the adhesions, breaking up the scar tissue in the process. This works to reduce or completely eliminate adhered fibers while restoring motion and eliminating pain. Eventually, the process will rebuild your soft tissue from injured to healthy, functioning tissue.

Side effects

During treatment, while not the intent, patients may experience some mild soreness. However, our clinicians are all trained to recognize these symptoms and work to avoid or minimize accordingly. The fact is, GT treatment does not need to be “painful” to be effective. The technique was made with patient sensitivity in mind. If you do experience any pain or discomfort during treatment, simply inform your clinician.

What does recovery from treatment look like?

Patients will typically receive two treatments per week during a four-to-five week period. By the third week of treatment, patients will start to see the positive response from the procedures. Many patients have actually reported an increased range of motion and reduced pain after the first treatment, however.

After treatment patients may experience mild soreness or small bruises over the treated area. If you do experience any of this soreness, icing the area for 15 to 20 minutes will help to ease any discomfort. It’s also recommended that you exercise, stretch, and practice strength training in combination with treatment to help the injured tissues to heal faster.

IV Vitamin Infusion Therapies

IV Vitamin Infusion Therapy is both a painless and effective way of improving your health and energy levels. By replenishing your system with the nutrients it needs to keep going after the fatigue sets in, IV therapy can help keep you strong while achieving the highest level of health and wellness.

How does IV Therapy Work?

By helping your body absorb vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into your bloodstream, IV therapy works to nourish your body at a cellular level. Administering the nutrients directly into the bloodstream, IV therapy bypasses the digestive system and helps to maximize cell absorption.

What Types of IV Therapy does PPS Offer?

At Pinnacle Pain & Spine, we offer various forms of IV therapy to help keep you at your peak wellness. Here are some options that we can provide our patients:

Performance Hydration IV (Athletes)
This option is perfect for anyone looking to train hard and bounce back quickly. Great before and after intense physical activity, Performance Hydration IV will replenish essential nutrients, Vitamin C, and amino acids. It’s great for increasing your stamina, boosting your metabolism, and also helping with muscle recovery. The replenishment of amino acids serves not only to help muscles after working out, but also digestive muscles including your heart, lungs, etc.

Liquilift and Natural Defense IV Therapy
Liquilift and Natural Defense IV Therapy offers patients high doses of amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that help to promote your immune system. This is especially effective during peak flu season.

Ozone Therapy
Ozone Therapy uses medical grade ozone (a highly reactive form of pure oxygen) to create a curative response in the body. This option is great for post op procedures/surgery to promote the body’s healing process. As a bonus, we can Ozonate PRP to maximize the benefits.

This therapy technique combines the principles of neural therapy, Prolotherapy, and Ozone therapy. Combining procaine, anti-inflammatory medications, homeopathics, vitamins, minerals, proliferates, and ozone/oxygen gas into degenerated or injured joints and other areas of pain helps to regenerate damaged tissues. This option can remarkably help otherwise untreatable pain, permanently curing the condition.

Major Autohemotherapy (MAH)
MAH is similar to an IV drip. The difference however, is that your blood is first withdrawn from your vein and into an IV bag. After this, medical ozone is infused into the bag and mixed together with your own blood. The mixture is then dripped back into your vein. As a result, no Ozone will actually enter your bloodstream. It’s a safe option with virtually no negative side effects.

What can IV Therapy treat?

IV Therapy is known for replenishing your body’s nutrients and getting you back to peak performance. There are a variety of conditions that this therapy can treat, including:

  • Autoimmune disease

How often should I receive IV Therapy?

This is determined on a patient to patient basis. Upon consultation, PPS can determine the right treatment plan for you. Contact our team here to discuss options for IV therapy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you sure CBD is Legal?

When derived from hemp, rather than marijuana, CBD oil products are legal at the federal level and available to buy and use without a doctor’s recommendation in all 50 states. The legality of hemp and hemp derived products like CBD oil in the U.S. were clarified last December with the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill.

Is this CBD Product Safe?

Not all CBD products are created equal, and it’s now more important than ever that consumers are educated on how to identify safe and high quality hemp products. HempMeds’ award-winning CBD oil brands like Real Scientific Hemp Oil™/Pinnacle contain hemp oil sourced from non-GMO grown by families of farmers without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. The CBD oil is extracted using a clean CO2 process, rather than damaging solvents used by some manufacturers.

Lastly, all of our CBD products are subject to our Triple Lab Testing® process, which involves examining the safety and quality of the products three separate times. These stringent manufacturing and testing processes ensure a safe CBD oil product, every time.

Is this CBD Product Psychoactive?

Will using CBD oil cause euphoric or intoxicating effects? The straight answer is no — CBD oil derived from hemp does not cause euphoric effects and will not cause any type of intoxication or impairing effects.

CBD oil from hemp contains no more than 0.3 percent THC, far too little to cause intoxicated feelings, even with frequent use. Pinnacle CBD is less than .009 percent THC.

How will using CBD make me feel?

As far as the feelings using CBD oil may elicit, not everyone responds the same. Some have reported experiencing a heightened sense of relaxation after using CBD, while others say they notice slight awakening effects. Some consumers may not notice any type of sensation after using CBD oil, but instead note that they simply feel better during the day and sleep more soundly at night with regular use.

Which CBD Product should I try?

Pinnacle CBD! Capsules or Salve

How does this CBD brand compare to others?

HempMeds’ line of CBD oil brands stands out from others on the market. We were the first company to introduce hemp CBD oil products to market in 2012. HempMeds also leads the hemp CBD industry in our production and product testing guidelines. We were the first CBD company to implement a rigorous Triple Lab Testing® process to verify the safety and quality of our products and have had many of our products certified by the U.S. Hemp Authority. We are also the first company to have CBD products listed in the Prescriber’s Desk Reference (PDR), a resource for medical professionals that gives support on prescribing decisions.

Our CBD product lines have also been chosen as the first legally available products by major foreign markets like Brazil and Mexico.

How much of this CBD product should I take?

Those who are new to CBD often looking for guidance on a typical serving of CBD oil.
There is no “one size fits all” serving size when it comes to CBD oil. Customers will find differences in their personally optimal CBD serving size.

HempMeds’/Pinnacle CBD products do provide suggested serving sizes, available on each individual product label. These are meant to serve as a starting point as patients dial in on the right serving for their personal wellness needs and situation.

Do you know if this CBD company tests their products?

There are currently no testing standards in the hemp oil industry, so CBD consumers are right to ask about a CBD company’s testing procedures.

HempMeds®’/Pinnacle CBD oil products are put through rigorous safety measures, including our Triple Lab Testing® process, to ensure their safety and quality. This process examines our CBD oil and its resulting products three times through our manufacturing process using licensed third party labs.

Our strict testing standards have led to our products earning a certification by the U.S. Hemp Authority.

Can I take this CBD product and still pass a drug test?

First responders, members of the U.S. Military, competitive athletes, teachers, and others may be concerned about the possibility of a positive drug test result from using hemp CBD oil products.

Different drug tests screen for different substances, and most workplace drug screens designed to detect cannabis use look specifically for THC or its main metabolite, THC-COOH. Because there are only trace amounts of THC in hemp CBD oil, in most cases it will not cause a positive drug test.

With that said, some studies have shown that hemp products, in rare cases, can show up on urine or blood drug tests. Therefore, we recommend you suggest to any customer that is concerned about having a positive drug test to avoid consuming CBD oil.

Fluid Flow Regenerative Medicine Therapy

Pinnacle Pain and Spine is an advanced pain management, minimally invasive spine and sports medicine practice, established with the philosophy of putting patient care above all else, and bringing the most effective, forward-thinking, and evidence-based treatments to patients.”

– Matthew Crooks, MD

Regenerative Medicine Therapy for Pain

Stem cell therapy is a treatment method for pain management that does not involve invasive surgical procedures. It’s a more comforting alternative for patients and allows them to enjoy a more productive lifestyle during treatment, without the long-term recovery process. Proven to be successful in treating pain management, this form of regenerative therapy is a great option for patients looking for solutions to their pain symptoms.

What is Fluid Flow?

BioLab Sciences has developed Fluid Flow technology and Fluid Flow products to help patients undergo the treatment they need, all while allowing them to maintain a comfortable and productive lifestyle.

Fluid Flow is an amniotic allograft that takes the amniotic liquid within the placenta and promotes the process of tissue repair, replacement, and reconstruction. This amniotic fluid consists of substances like cytokines that are important factors within tissue healing. It has also been shown to help with pain management for patients.

What does it treat?

BioLab’s Fluid Flow can treat a number of different problems in patients. Used by health care practitioners for decades, amniotic allografts have been utilized in treating conditions like chronic pain, sexual dysfunction, hair loss, as well as orthopedic conditions.

By promoting the body’s own healing responses, Fluid Flow can effectively activate the factors responsible for the repair, replacement, and reconstruction of tissue for patients. In terms of orthopedic treatment, some injuries that would benefit from Fluid Flow are:

  • Sports injuries
  • Joint pain
  • Tendonitis
  • Fasciitis
  • Muscle tears

How is it administered?

Fluid Flow is typically administered through an injection into the patient’s body to the targeted pain generator. However, it is also possible to use Fluid Flow through a nebulizer. This allows the patient to breath in the Fluid Flow, which then uses the same process of releasing cytokines into the body to promote healing and pain management.

Is it safe?

Fluid Flow liquid allograft is processed strictly using FDA approved requirements. Donors contributing to Fluid Flow technology are all thoroughly screened and assessed for any high risk behavior or diseases beforehand. Also, all donated tissue has been approved for transplant following the industry standards, as well as tested for any infectious disease.

How does it work?

Fluid Flow technology is a form of regenerative medicine therapy helps to activate the body’s healing responses. After it is injected, Fluid Flow releases cytokines into the patient’s body which are shown to promote healing and pain management.

The process works in lieu of inflammatory tendencies, instead utilizing repair processes consistent in regenerative medicine. This regenerative therapy will start the healing process while at the same time allowing the patient to have the quality of life necessary for a productive lifestyle.

What are the benefits of using Fluid Flow?

Using Fluid Flow allows the patient’s body to naturally heal and regenerate tissue as needed. The amniotic fluid activates the body’s healing response while limiting any inflammatory responses. Also, the regenerative process replaces the buildup of scar tissue in patients. For this reason, Fluid Flow has been an effective application for patients with orthopedic conditions.
